Day 18 of 30

Day 18- Plans/dreams/goals you have
Is it wrong to not have goals?  Does it make me a loser?  You can be honest.

I know I should set goals so that I have something to work towards, but I've always been horrible about reaching my goals.. or I will set goals that are no where within my reach, so then I just let myself down.  OR.. I just get lazy.
I've had this Hawaii trip booked for MONTHS... I've had MONTHS to hit the gym and get in the shape I want to be for bikini wearing... am I in that shape?  Have I met a simple goal of going at least 10 times a month?  It's only 10 times... why is that so fricken hard?  Do I have such a busy life that I can't spare 60 minutes for the gym, nope.

So goals are out.

Dreams - I have a lot of dreams, but mostly the ones that, again, are unattainable.  Dreams like If I won the lottery I'd have my dream home or I'd pay off the mortgages of my loved ones.  Great dreams, yes, but just not a reality.

Plans... well, I have plans.  Shit, planning is my middle name.  That's right, Ang Planning.  Don't act like it's not normal.
Plans is: Hawaii in February.  Before or Beyond that is out of my control, for the moment.

I know, I suck on many levels.

Dammit I'd forgotten about my thirty days! It's been so neglected! I love yours, they're always interesting and eye-opening!

I'm not a huge goal setter myself for pretty much the same reasons. I mean, the fact that I got through NaNoWriMo STILL amazes me!

I think this is my favourite post so far. I can totally relate. I'm just kind of floating around, going wherever life blows me... That's right, life blows me! And it's great! :)

to be honest- I don't have any goals for myself right now either. Sure I would like to lose X amount of lbs and I guess that's a goal, but it's still in the planning stages.

I have goals and they range in how achievable they are. Some I meet and some I do not. I just think it is part of being human. I like your honesty in this post.
