March Vent

Thank God I have a blog to vent.  Bare with me... or don't read, your call.

I've never been a person who can just walk away from a bad situation or a confrontation without it bothering me for a very long time; I hold grudges.  Plain and simple {or not so simple}, it's who I am and who I've always been.  I hate it.  I would change it in a heartbeat, if it were that easy.

As I've grown and as I've matured, it has gotten a bit better.  I always feel the need to get out my feelings and say my piece; I don't need to have the last word, just a word.  Biting my tongue is not something that comes easy, however sometimes it's necessary (at work, specifically).

I get extremely frustrated with people who ask for your input or opinion when they already have 'the answer' in their head.  Why even ask, why waste my time?  You know how you want it to go... just do it and tell me how it is, period.  That's the end result anyways.  Let's have a brainstorming session, but nothing you say matters.

If you are asking me about something, expect that I'm going to ask you questions in return to get more detail.  Don't take a tone with me and make me feel like a child based on the lack of information you've provided.  You're the one coming to me asking me if I've seen this notification; I don't know where it came from, I don't know if you've done anything about it or with it, I don't know what the end result is.  When I tell you It sounds bogus to me, talk to me like the 28-year-old I am and say I thought so too, not like I'm stupid by saying in your annoyed, raised-eyebrow tone That's why I'm asking.

Sometimes I just want to scream FML!!  ooooooaaaaaahhhhhhhh!

PS. having other co-workers to vent with is such a blessing, and almost makes me not want need to post this.

Thank you for listening,

I SO know how this is. If I don't get my say in, in an argument or any situation like that, it stays with me for a long time. Very frustrating.
Hugs!

Don't worry Ang! It happens to everyone.

My boss is like this. We have meetings and he encourages us to participate, but he already knows what the end result will be.

Just breathe and worry about yourself, not about all the asshats!
