It reminds me of a quote that I know Tony Soprano didn't come up with himself, but I first heard it out of his mouth:
"Even a broken clock is right twice a day"
In this case it's a watch, not a (wall) clock... and it's not right twice a day, because my watch has the date on it.
I probably need to take care of this before August 4th at 12:50pm; in which case it would be right twice that day.

I've never really worn a watch and now I have a cell phone and that's how I tell time.
I'm with Connie although I've always wanted a pocket watch.
mine broke a few months ago but I still wear it bc it's sooo cute!
About once aweek someone will ask me the time, though... kinda embarrassing.
I have a watch that I got when my great-grandma passed.. it broke a few months ago but I still wear it anyway. I really should get it fixed.
