I buy nearly everything generic. Peanut butter and coffee, though, are huge generic no no's for me.

I agree with Krysten- peanut butter cannot be generic. But that's because when I worked at Dairy Queen and Culvers, they use generic and it separates. If you've never seen what fully separated peanut butter looks like.. BARF. So that is always name brand.
And I will buy pretty much anything in generic if I'm broke enough. A low point was buying dollar store laundry detergent. It was like the generic version of SUN or something equally bad. It was a bad month.
I also can't buy generic macaroni & cheese. It's horrid.
If it's Target's brand [either Up&Up or Market Pantry for food] -- I def will buy it. I love their stuff usually!
